Our activity starts
on 1964, near
In the
beginning Production was focused on conventional textiles, but later
became concentrated in the
non woven sector, with a large and innovative
range of finishing machines such as
Ovens, Hot Calenders, Foulards, Foamers.
This extensive and comprehensive range of machinery makes Bombi Meccanica one of the
few firms in the world able
to supply complete lines that is
100% of it’s own production
and engineering.
The company has a export oriented
market and it’s premises
are located in Barberino del Mugello, in a modern and well equipped new building of 3.000 sqmts.
The Company is equipped with it’s
own production facilities in order to manufacture
internally all items of machinery, as well as
the control panels that are normally equipped with PLC with our own software.
Design, development, production, assembly
and final testing are all carried out by Bombi Meccanica, ensuring full quality control at each stage of the process, as well as,
in the finished product.
Over
1,200 machines and plant have been delivered in the four corners of planet earth.

felts for mattresses, underfelts, noise insulation.
Oven for High
Density thermal bonded wadding , for fillings and
mattresses.
Oven for Spray
bonded wadding made of Polyester, for quiltings and
fillings.
Perforated drum
ovens for drying and heat setting.
Calendred felts
for Geotextiles, Wipes, Technical Textiles, Filters,
etc. (used to improve the tenacity and smoothness for the needled felt and
final calibration)
Cutters for felt
or wadding (longitudinal and transversal)
(new) Hyper compressing machine (to produce high density
boards, out of standard nonwoven)
Foam machines and
applicator.(are used in nonwoven
impregnation as well as in coating for fabric and flocking.)
Thermal oxidizer
& Water scrubbers (To clean the smokes out of the ovens)
