Bombi Meccanica started production of foamers,
35 years ago. In the last
15 years we have introduced a new generation
of fully electronic foamers.
Our aim was to produce something superior, but in fact we achieved
much more than this.
Why ?

FFoam density is controlled by the latest generation of
PLC, and it is automatically adjustable. The operator only has
to set the foam density required (E.g. 250 g/l) and
start the machine. The setting and the display of all parameters is made on the working panel, with
indication of all working
conditions of the foam process. Foam flow could be set in manual way, in Kg\h or in g\m2 following the needing. FThe specific weight
of the chemical to befoamed could be stored into
the system in order to compensate the air flow, getting the needed Foam density. FPossibility to equip each
model with one or more dosing
kit, composed of pump, flow meter
and regulation system. This permits one or more additive to
be continuously injected directly into the head, such as gelling,
vulcanizer , color, Zno etc. Additives are regulated by the electronic system, in percentage terms with respect to the main liquid
and injected directly into the head. All procedures are simple and user friendly. |

FThe flow
meter checks in continuous the flow of the chemical and the system adjusts
the air flowin order to achieve
the foam density set from the operator. Flow meters, fully
electronic, have no moving parts and they are high precise and extremely reliable. FThe system could be linked with the line speed and fabric width so that the foam flow could be
adjusted in grams per square meters. A constant deposit of chemical is granted
at any line speed. FThe sealing system
made with mechanical seals in hard
material, work in an oil bath
and allows for a safe and extremely reliable operation, without the need for regular maintenance. FExclusive mixing heads with round pins, create an extremely fine and homogenous foam, achieved with a gentle action on the product to be foamed.
This reduces to a minimum the risk of coagulation and head blocking, even with 100% natural latex. Heads are quipped with external jacket for cooling.Variable speed in any model |

Using volumetric electronic control.In this machine
the flow of the chemical is detected with
a volumetric flow meter (in l\h). It is possible
to set the specific gravity of the chemical in the
working panel so that the
system will compensate the air flow
in order to get the needed foam density. This machine is indicated to foam any kind
of product with a constant specific gravity, known by the operator. |

Using mass-based electronic
control.This model is able to
detect automatically the specific gravity of the compound to be
foamed. So even if the gravity change, the system is able to maintain
the needed foam density compensating automatically any variation. This machine is indicate to foam compound with filler or powder, like CaCo3, with high variation of latex specific gravity. |
